This is my reality. I'm a PeaceCorps kid living in Belize. In Belizean Creole, "lee gyal" means "little girl." Originally from Southern California, this place where Latin and Caribbean cultures mesh is now home. The insights and ramblings in this documentation of my journey in no way represent the views of the Peace Corps or the good 'ol U.S. Government. Cheers!
